On 18th April 2006, 40 of our members and guests boarded a coach to take us to Portsmouth where we visited the newly built Spinnaker Tower in the morning and the not-so-new Mary Rose in the afternoon. Lunch was taken in the Old Customs House pub. Fortunately we were blessed with fine and dry weather which allowed us some excellent views of Portsmouth Harbour and the Naval Dockyard.
