Visit to Odiham RAF Base

On a damp and dismal Thursday afternoon, some 25 members and guests paid a visit to RAF Odiham. After refreshments and an entertaining presentation of the history and current activities of the base, we were taken round the workshops where the fleet of Chinook helicopters are serviced. The visit finished with tour of the operations area where we all were able to inspect a Chinook at close range. All agreed that it was a most interesting visit. |
